How Can I Help

Real estate financing is only properly done when you have both accurate information and advisors available to you. Today’s applicant has numerous sources of information to investigate. The Internet, newspapers and “how to” books are but a few examples of these sources. 

The magnitude of the information can be overwhelming. How much time do you have to invest in this research project? How do you know the accuracy or the timeliness of the information? The most efficient way to complete a project is to surround yourself with talented professionals. If you have a legal issue, you hire an attorney. If you’re like most people you hire an accountant to prepare your tax returns. Why? You recognize that your limited experience in law or accounting can prove to be more expensive in the long run than having the right people doing the job for you.

How I can help you in the mortgage process is simple. I have the most updated information at my disposal. Where interest rates are, the current turnaround time to issue a mortgage commitment, or the lead time needed to schedule a closing at each attorney’s office are just some of the details. I will present your financial position in the best possible way to the underwriter.

If you’re purchasing a home I begin working with you even before you present your first offer. Besides the obvious discussions as to how large a purchase you should make, I can assist you through the negotiation process. I will show you the best way to present your offer. This puts you in control of the negotiations, not the seller or the real estate broker.

If you’re refinancing an existing mortgage I'll help you determine the best approach. Should you keep your mortgage balance as low as possible, should you increase your balance to pay off other debts as well as determine which debts make sense to pay off, and most importantly whether or not you should even refinance at this time.

The goal is to get you the right mortgage and for the right reasons. This is why you will not find a mortgage application at this site. For me to do my job properly, I need to spend time discussing your needs and work out a plan with you. If a face to face meeting is not convenient, then a telephone meeting can be scheduled. You deserve my undivided attention and I need you to supply all the pertinent information needed to make an informed decision.

There is no cost or obligation for this meeting. The purpose of the meeting is for you to better understand what I can do for you and for me to get the data needed to give you the proper guidance.
